Chapter 219: Ling Hanyu’s Affair
Chapter 219: Ling Hanyu’s Affair
Song Qingtian kept staring at Qin Xiaotian, her brow furrowed in puzzlement. At this moment, Song Qingtian was completely dazed and couldn’t tell who the person before her was.
She even thought she had gone back to the past.
Qin Xiaotian himself hadn’t expected Song Qingtian to smile at him—such a beautiful smile, too.
“You’re back?”
Thinking of Qin Xiaotian’s departure all those years ago, Song Qingtian felt a wave of regret welling up inside her, tears welling in the corners of her eyes.
Qin Xiaotian was still confused; he simply couldn’t understand what Song Qingtian was saying.
Song Qingtian, however, bit her lip and pouted, sobbing as she said, “Why didn’t you hold on a little longer? Why did you just leave like that? What am I supposed to do now that you’re gone?”
As Song Qingtian burst into tears, she clung to Qin Xiaotian and pounded on him hard.
“Do you even know how much I’ve missed you? How could you bear to just abandon me and walk away? Didn’t we agree that we’d be together forever, through thick and thin, until the end of time?”
Tears streamed down Song Qingtian’s face as she cried, leaving Qin Xiaotian utterly bewildered.
Was this really the woman talking to him?
Just then, the bedroom door was kicked open.
Qin Xiaotian was startled—how dare anyone barge into the Qin family’s home?
He turned sharply toward the doorway and saw Ling Hanyu already standing there.
Behind him was the Old Steward, his eye blackened and bruised, clutching his eye as he stood by the entrance.
Qin Xiaotian wanted to leave, but Ling Hanyu was far too brazen.
Even the Yehuangdidu didn’t come and go as casually as he did.
When Song Qingtian noticed Qin Xiaotian trying to slip away, she clung to him tightly.
“Xiaotian, please don’t go! Please don’t go!”
Qin Xiaotian looked at Ling Hanyu, a sly glint flashing in his eyes—right now, he felt supremely smug.
Ling Hanyu wore a cold, impassive expression as he gazed at the sobbing Song Qingtian. He took a step closer, and Song Qingtian asked, “Why did you just leave me behind? We agreed we’d be together, that you’d marry me and watch me in my wedding dress, the most beautiful bride of all. Why did you have to go? How could you bear to leave? Do you know how much ridicule I’ve endured? Everyone says I’m just delusional—yet you’re so wonderful!”
Song Qingtian burst into tears, and Ling Hanyu’s face grew colder and colder with each passing moment.
This damn woman still dares to claim she’s fine!
Qin Xiaotian was equally baffled and sensed something was terribly wrong.
Perhaps Song Qingtian had mistaken him for someone else—but why was she calling him “Xiaotian”?
Qin Xiaotian turned around and looked down at Song Qingtian, whose face was streaked with tears and her eyes glazed over.
She asked, “Do you still love me?”
Qin Xiaotian replied, “Are you sure it’s really me?”
Qin Xiaotian also wanted to provoke Ling Hanyu, to make him misunderstand.
But he just couldn’t bring himself to do it—his manhood wouldn’t allow it.
Song Qingtian pressed her lips together, images of Ling Hanyu’s face flashing through her mind, and suddenly she cupped her face and began to cry.
Shaking her head, she said, “There’s no going back—nothing can ever go back!”
Qin Xiaotian was at a loss, too. And just as Song Qingtian was crying, Ling Hanyu grabbed Qin Xiaotian. Of course, Qin Xiaotian wasn’t about to let go—he stepped forward, and Ling Hanyu yanked him up, sending Song Qingtian crashing straight into Ling Hanyu’s arms.
As soon as Song Qingtian’s body made contact with Ling Hanyu’s, the restlessness within her, amplified by the stimulant she’d consumed, was fully ignited.
Looking up at Ling Hanyu’s furious face, Song Qingtian wrapped her arms around him and kissed him eagerly.
Ling Hanyu tightened his grip, lowering his head to look at Song Qingtian, trying to pull away. But Song Qingtian wasn’t having any of it—she pouted, frowned, and huffed, pressing her lips harder against his.
Ling Hanyu’s breathing grew rapid, and after this exchange, he pushed Song Qingtian away.
Then he bent down and bit her lip.
The pain jolted Song Qingtian awake.
Once she clearly saw Ling Hanyu, she stopped crying and making a scene—and instead, she initiated another kiss.
Suddenly, the entire room fell silent.
All that could be heard was the sound coming from Song Qingtian’s mouth.
Ling Hanyu picked her up and carried her out of the room.
He strode away, seething with righteous indignation.
Almost everyone saw Ling Hanyu carrying off a woman dressed in black silk, though they couldn’t make out her face. Still, they were certain it must be Ling Hanyu’s mistress.
As for the so-called Miss Song from the Song Family…
Divorce was only a matter of time.
