Chapter 231: Stay Steady and Be Fierce
Chapter 231: Stay Steady and Be Fierce
Ling Hanyu turned around, and Song Qingtian had already walked up.
“What are you doing?” Ling Hanyu asked, his face cold and displeased.
“I’m going to kill him!” Song Qingtian had never suffered such a humiliation before; she hated it most when men bullied women—especially in such a despicable way.
Zhou Zishan hurriedly explained, “It’s a misunderstanding, absolutely a misunderstanding.”
“A misunderstanding? Wait until I kill you, and then it’ll be a misunderstanding too!”
Song Qingtian started walking toward Zhou Zishan. Suddenly, there was a brick on the ground, and without thinking, she bent down to pick it up.
No one saw when she picked it up, but she really did have a brick in her hand.
As she stepped forward, Song Qingtian walked like a runway model who’d undergone special training—though she hadn’t quite mastered it, she’d ended up half a Special Forces Soldier.
With every step, it felt as if she could crush someone’s skull.
She exuded murderous intent, strong and powerful.
She passed by Ling Hanyu as if he were a complete stranger.
But Ling Hanyu snapped out of it and grabbed Song Qingtian’s arm, trying to hold her back.
“Let go!” Song Qingtian shouted, clutching the brick tightly, ready to smash Zhou Zishan to death.
How dare he try to strip her naked—has he grown tired of living?
Ling Hanyu also wore a stern expression, with icy coldness in his eyes.
He wanted to pull Song Qingtian aside, but he couldn’t hold on. She was like a wild horse that had broken free from its reins—once he let go, she shot off.
She spun around and delivered a vicious, precise blow.
Zhou Zishan wasn’t far from Ling Hanyu to begin with. Song Qingtian looked delicate and slender, yet she had long, slender legs.
With one kick, she sent him flying into the air—and it was a combo kick, no less.
Her first kick landed squarely on Zhou Zishan’s chest, and her second struck his face, sending him tumbling backward. He stumbled several times before finally falling to the ground, unable to steady himself.
Zhou Zishan scrambled to get up, but his chest hurt terribly from being kicked.
Ling Hanyu worried that Song Qingtian might be hurt, so he wrapped his arms around her waist and shielded her.
With a stern look, Ling Hanyu said to the woman in his arms, “That’s enough!”
Song Qingtian wasn’t having any of it. She pushed Ling Hanyu away with fierce, murderous energy—her usual strength seemed to have vanished today, replaced entirely by an overwhelming surge of rage.
Ling Hanyu wobbled, and Song Qingtian pressed her knee against his stomach. Thinking she was about to trip him, his mind lagged behind his body by half a beat, and as soon as he loosened his grip, Song Qingtian darted forward.
She spun around and delivered another brutal, precise strike.
Just as Zhou Zishan was barely managing to crawl back to his feet, Song Qingtian smashed a brick right into his face, shattering his nose. He let out a scream, his face covered in blood, and began retreating while crying out, “My face! My face!”
Song Yinyin was terrified and stamped her foot, shouting, “Jiefu, jiefu…”
Kong Yuxiao rushed over and blocked everyone from getting close.
Only then did Ling Hanyu notice that, despite the chaos, Song Qingtian had the upper hand.
Seeing that she was unharmed and fighting with such fierce, heroic spirit, Ling Hanyu decided not to intervene.
Instead, he found himself drawn to the ethereal aura of power radiating from her.
In Ling Hanyu’s view, inner strength and ethereal grace were two opposing extremes that rarely coexisted in one person—but Song Qingtian had managed to achieve both.
There was a faint, almost trance-like quality to it.
Zhou Zishan wailed, drawing a crowd, but Song Qingtian paid him no mind. She continued punching and kicking him mercilessly.
When Zhou Zishan lay on the ground, some people tried to step in and stop her, but Song Qingtian suddenly raised the brick in her hand and pointed at them, saying, “They’re trying to molest me!”
Instantly, the whole area fell silent.
Song Qingtian turned to Kong Yuxiao and Song Yinyin. Song Yinyin was so frightened that her expression was frantic.
“Sister, we were just playing around, really!” Song Yinyin stammered, frantically trying to make excuses for herself.
Song Qingtian ignored Song Yinyin and instead glared at Kong Yuxiao: “You were groping me just now, too. If my husband hadn’t rushed over in time to save me, you’d have dragged me off into the woods and raped me by now.”
The moment Song Qingtian spoke, everyone was shocked.
People around her turned to look at her, beginning to accuse her:
“How can you dare commit such violence in broad daylight? Do you even have any sense of justice?”
“That’s right—she calls herself ‘sister,’ but is this some kind of ‘little sister’ trying to take over?”
“No little sister—this is clearly a third party, a green tea bitch, a white lotus flower! Look at her—still staring at that man even in these times!”
“She’s immoral, always flirting with others, and now she wants to steal someone else’s husband!”
“It must be because she couldn’t win him over, so she resorted to such underhanded tactics.”
“This is something you only ever see on TV—never imagined it would actually happen!”
Everyone was talking at once, each saying something different. Song Yinyin was already completely panicked—not because she feared what people would say, but because she was afraid of getting beaten.
What if Song Qingtian went crazy and disfigured her?
“Jiefu…” Song Yinyin thought only of self-preservation, consumed by fear.
But the moment she called out “jiefu,” Ling Hanyu’s expression grew even colder.
People around her spat in disgust, while Song Qingtian cared only about getting revenge and didn’t bother paying any attention to Song Yinyin at all.
Song Qingtian wasn’t satisfied after beating Zhou Zishan—after all, it wasn’t just Zhou Zishan who had been pulling at her.
Next up was someone else.
She locked eyes with Kong Yuxiao, and he trembled with fear: “Y-you… don’t come any closer!”
Yet Song Qingtian deliberately walked right up to him. Song Yinyin let out a shriek and turned to run!
