They got out of the car, went back to pack up the chili peppers, took them with them, and tossed the rest on the way.

As soon as Song Yinyin got home, she collapsed, her fever refusing to come down. Bai Ge then summoned Song Yingtang as well.

Meanwhile, Song Qingtian headed off to a restaurant for dinner.

“I heard that Ling Hanyu and his wife were in a car accident and are now in a vegetative state.”

But Uncle Lin remained calm.

They hadn’t prepared much when they set out; they just bought a backpack-style bag for their daughter and plenty of toys and snacks.

With everything ready, Ling Nuonuo played with a toy as the couple drove off toward where Yang Yifan was being held.

Yang Yifan never imagined that the people who came to bail him out would be none other than Ling Hanyu and his wife.

When he saw the two of them, Yang Yifan was completely stunned.

The lawyer was there too—and of course, the lawyer hadn’t expected the couple to show up together at the police station to bail Yang Yifan out.
