Chapter 11: Chapter 11
“That’s it?”
After patiently watching the show for half a day, Ming Yue still thought there must be some ultimate move waiting for her.
But it was just this?
She let out a scornful laugh, not striking back right away. Instead, she turned to Ming Xia, whose words were leaking like a sieve: “Oh, so this is the trick you’ve been playing? Trying to drive me away?”
Ming Yue yawned. “But Auntie, do you know that not only will you fail in your scheme, but you’re about to run into serious trouble instead?”
“Bullshit! It’s you who’s going to be in big trouble! You unlucky omen—just you wait! Once my brother gets back, he’ll definitely kick you out of here!”
Ming Xia still didn’t dare step forward; she stood timidly behind her mother, Ma Fengying.
Ming Yue smiled. “My mom’s human, so of course her farts stink. Unlike you, Auntie—you can’t even measure people by species. Even your farts are one-of-a-kind: they can serve as perfume for yourself, and even as food!”
“You!”
Ming Xia’s face turned dark purple with anger. She stormed forward, ready to argue with Ming Yue, but then remembered how last night Da Ge had been knocked to the ground by a single teacup thrown by Ming Yue, and reluctantly backed off again.
Ming Yue gave her a dismissive look and decided she couldn’t be bothered to waste any more words.
“What a blockhead!”
She couldn’t even be bothered to complain anymore, so she turned to the little boy instead: “As for you, little Lai Lai, right? Don’t worry—I love picking on kids. Especially ones like you; it’s so satisfying to tease them. So if you dare mess with me, I guarantee I’ll fight back. Just like…”
Ming Yue smiled sweetly as she fixed her gaze on the tablet in the boy’s hand.
Suddenly, without warning, she launched an attack: with a gentle tap, she sent Liu Lai’s tablet crashing to the floor. The sound was crisp and sharp—“plop!” But that wasn’t enough for Ming Yue; she immediately followed up with another “plop,” stomping hard on the screen until it shattered into pieces.
“You…”
“What ‘you’? It was a piece of cake—no need to be polite.” Ming Yue was in an excellent mood, a mischievous grin spreading across her lips. After admiring the pile of broken tablets on the ground, she clapped her hands and laughed heartily.
“You… you…”
Liu Lai’s face went pale as he stared in disbelief at the lifeless body sprawled on the floor.
Ming Yue shrugged. “No need to get worked up—let’s just chalk this up to your dad. Little guy, no need to thank me; after all, now you can officially get a new device.”
“You…”
“You…”
“You…”
The little boy’s face turned deathly pale. Though he hated this crazy woman with every fiber of his being, he didn’t dare confront her head-on.
He’d seen that photo online many times, but the cup hadn’t actually smashed down on his own head. He might have gained a vague understanding, but it was far from deep—he couldn’t possibly feel the pain. Empathy was out of the question.
Yet now, lying obediently on the floor, those broken tablet corpses were impossible for this immature child to ignore.
It’s no exaggeration to say that, in his eyes, Ming Yue was nothing but a complete madwoman—a terrifying demon!
His body trembled with cold, and he clutched tightly at the hem of Grandma Ma Fengying’s clothes, whose face had grown pitch-black. He huddled behind her, too afraid to meet Ming Yue’s gaze.
But gritting his teeth, deep down, this little boy—who’d always been cherished and pampered by his parents—had already silently mapped out a hundred gruesome ways to kill Ming Yue.
No!
A hundred ways weren’t enough!
Not nearly enough!
It had to be a thousand!
Ten thousand!
Hundred thousand!
When he grew up—when he was as big as this madwoman—he would carry out each of those methods one by one.
He would make this madwoman pay for what she’d done today! He would force her to kneel on the ground, begging him for mercy, utterly pathetic and miserable. Then he’d deliver a crushing kick, smashing her to bits—just like those tablet corpses lying on the floor!
Ming Yue couldn’t be bothered with this little brat; she didn’t care what filthy thoughts were hidden beneath that sinister, almost unbearable expression.
Her gaze shifted, slowly moving toward Ma Fengying. The smile on her face was long gone; a suffocating chill radiated from every inch of her body. Her icy demeanor was laced with mockery, and her deep, abyss-like eyes held a bitter sting as she stared straight ahead—at the old woman before her.
The old woman remained silent.
So Ming Yue pressed on: “Grandma, do you think I should die a mutilated corpse like my brother, or become a helpless wreck like my younger brother, or perhaps go completely insane like my mom?”
