Chapter 174: Clearly a Psychopath
Chapter 174: Clearly a Psychopath
Song Qingtian turned around and wrapped her arms around Ling Hanyu. The sudden surge of force caught him off guard, sending him stumbling backward two steps until his body pressed against the wall.
Song Qingtian kissed him, their bodies entwined in a passionate embrace.
Ling Hanyu’s hands were still covered in soap bubbles—he hadn’t even had a chance to rinse them off yet.
Song Qingtian was fierce and unrestrained, leaving him unable to move under the intense pressure of her advances.
He couldn’t possibly resist; whenever he tried to pull away, she would grab his tie and press down on the back of his head.
“Mm…” Ling Hanyu groaned softly, and Song Qingtian suddenly stopped.
She slowly pulled away, her face flushing red.
Then she turned and went to rinse herself off. After washing, she shook her hands and walked out the door.
Ling Hanyu watched her leave, only moving from his spot after more than ten seconds to go wash his hands at the sink.
Looking at his reflection in the mirror, Ling Hanyu shook his hands and touched his bitten lip.
She really didn’t hold back at all—how desperate must she have been?
It was like she wanted to devour him!
As soon as he stepped out of the bathroom, Ling Hanyu froze for a moment.
The office was empty—absolutely no one was there.
He glanced at the phone on his desk, then looked toward the office door. It was slightly ajar, meaning someone had already left.
Picking up both phones, Ling Hanyu headed out.
Just as he reached the entrance, Secretary Yang hurried over.
“Where’s Madam?”
“She’s been taken away by the police,” Yang Yifan replied, his face filled with anxiety.
He never expected Song Qingtian to be so impulsive—she’d left without waiting for General Ling.
Ling Hanyu’s expression grew cold. “She was taken away like that?”
“They said Madam is suspected of multiple crimes, and several people have come forward with corroborating testimony and evidence. They’ve asked Madam to return for questioning.”
“Where’s Madam?”
“She hasn’t said a word.”
“Contact a lawyer.”
Ling Hanyu followed her to the elevator, leaving the company first.
Yang Yifan quickly made the necessary arrangements.
Song Qingtian was taken to the police station, where many people were already gathered. Two of them she recognized—wasn’t it Zhou Zishan and Kong Yuxiao? Who else could it be?
“Qingtian!”
“Tiantian!”
As soon as they saw Song Qingtian, the two of them called out to her in unison.
Everyone in the police station turned to look at Song Qingtian.
In an instant, her charges were confirmed.
Song Qingtian paused for a moment, glancing at Zhou Zishan and Kong Yuxiao, then looking at the others present—some were victims, some were restaurant staff, and among them was the restaurant owner.
She didn’t know any of these people, so she simply followed the officers to take a seat.
“Tiantian!”
“Qingtian!”
Zhou Zishan and Kong Yuxiao were desperate to make sure everyone knew they knew Song Qingtian, so they scrambled to get closer to her.
Song Qingtian didn’t push them away; if they wanted to get close, they could—almost as if none of it had anything to do with her.
When Zhou Zishan reached Song Qingtian, he said, “Qingtian, we really had no choice.”
“That’s right—you’re the mastermind behind all this. We just couldn’t keep it hidden anymore.”
Song Qingtian glanced at the two of them but said nothing.
“Qingtian…”
The two kept talking, while everyone else watched them.
Song Qingtian had already turned her attention to the people present. She raised her hand and pointed at them, counting off: “One, two…”
She counted them one by one.
The police officer was baffled. “What are you doing?”
“I’m counting—how many people are conspiring to frame me.”
The officer was speechless and tossed down his notebook. “Behave yourself! With so many people identifying you, do you really think you can get away with it?”
Song Qingtian ignored him completely and kept counting. Those who were being counted grew pale and visibly uncomfortable.
Finally, Song Qingtian lowered her hand. “There are thirty-two people in total—I didn’t expect there to be so many.”
Kong Yuxiao shot a quick glance. “Isn’t it thirty-one?”
“You didn’t count yourself, did you?”
Song Qingtian teased playfully. “Do you think I’m an idiot?”
“Then you haven’t counted Song Yinyin either.”
“She… don’t talk nonsense. She didn’t even go.”
“Whether she went or not isn’t up to you. Evil will never triumph over good—don’t you know that?”
Song Qingtian spoke calmly, then turned to the officer across from her. “Let’s get started—no more delays.”
The police officer was truly at a loss. He’d always heard that Song Haichao’s daughter, Song Qingtian, was an uneducated, aimless woman who’d gone to great lengths to win over Ling Hanyu—and now, seeing her in person, he realized the rumors were well-founded.
This woman was clearly a psychopath!
