Chapter 75: The Fighting Nature Emerges

Ling Hanyu looked at Song Qingtian, his eyes dark and almost smiling.

He lifted Song Qingtian’s chin: “You’re afraid now, too?”

Lowering his head, Ling Hanyu whispered in Song Qingtian’s ear: “If you’re afraid, you shouldn’t have provoked me. Now if you want to leave, there’s no way out!”

After saying this, Ling Hanyu gave Song Qingtian a push, and she, still not fully conscious, collapsed onto the table.

Ling Hanyu watched as Song Qingtian lay there, her chest pushed open by the shirt she was wearing.

He immediately pulled the shirt out of her pants.

Song Qingtian snapped awake as if struck by lightning, trying to get up, but Ling Hanyu had already pulled her closer, bending down to press both hands on either side of her, then leaning in to kiss her.

“Stop… Ling Xian…”
“Didn’t you want it?”

Ling Hanyu asked arrogantly in Song Qingtian’s ear, then smiled before sliding his lips down along her earlobe.

Song Qingtian refused and tried to push him away, but as soon as their skin touched, she went limp.

“Hmph…”

Song Qingtian was furious—she couldn’t accept being kissed like that, yet she wanted to kiss him back.

The two chased each other, as if locked in a duel.

Ling Hanyu stepped back a bit, his gaze fixed on the flushed, breathless Song Qingtian, who stared right back at him—but her hands were clutching the lapel of his shirt, as if afraid he’d slip away!

“Like it?”

Ling Hanyu frowned.

“Just a little scuffle—who doesn’t know how to fight?”

At once, Ling Hanyu’s expression grew grim, and he turned his head to nip Song Qingtian.

In pain, Song Qingtian punched him.

Someone knocked at the office doorway.

Song Qingtian tried to push Ling Hanyu away, but he wouldn’t budge; instead, his advances only grew more aggressive.

Song Qingtian couldn’t help but let out a soft moan.

Outside the door, Song Yinyin froze for a moment, then began knocking faster and louder.

Song Qingtian thought something was off—could Secretary Yang really be so rude?

She quickly straightened her clothes and slapped Ling Hanyu: “Get up! It’s not Secretary Yang.”

“…Help me fix my shirt!”

Ling Hanyu’s dark eyes were clearly aflame with desire, tinged with an unquenched longing.

Song Qingtian vowed that if she dared say no, Ling Hanyu would keep going.

“Fine!”

Ling Hanyu helped Song Qingtian up. She first adjusted her own clothes—after lying down, she needed to straighten them again when sitting up—and only when she was sure everything was in order did she look up at Ling Hanyu.

Ling Hanyu was staring at her, his shirt still disheveled.

He’d hung his coat by the door as soon as he walked in, leaving only a white shirt on.

Now even that shirt was wide open.

Song Qingtian gazed at Ling Hanyu’s waist, her blood boiling with the urge to sink her teeth into it.

Biting her lip, Song Qingtian tugged at Ling Hanyu’s shirt twice—she wanted to help him button it up—but Ling Hanyu suddenly lowered his head and kissed her, leaving her completely speechless.

Then, the next moment, the office door burst open, and Song Qingtian flinched, hiding in Ling Hanyu’s arms.

Ling Hanyu wrapped his arms around Song Qingtian.

His cold eyes scanned the doorway.

Song Yinyin was stunned: “How could you… how could you do this?”

Song Qingtian was surprised: Song Yinyin?

How could she have gotten out when she was supposed to be locked up?

Song Qingtian stepped away from Ling Hanyu and looked toward the office door.

Her previously flushed face instantly hardened.

Her fighting nature had emerged.

Song Qingtian looked at Song Yinyin with disdain: “What are you talking about? We’re husband and wife—what can’t we do? What business is it of yours? As for you, how did you get out? I haven’t even settled accounts with you for what you did to me, and yet here you are!”

“I… I’ve already paid, and I’m here to apologize to jiefu,” Song Yinyin said, looking utterly pitiful. She’d paid to get out—she really couldn’t stand another day in there.

But she couldn’t admit she’d bought her freedom, so she skirted the issue and didn’t answer directly.

Song Yinyin was furious—Song Qingtian was flirting with Ling Hanyu again!

How shameless!

Song Yinyin burst into tears: “Jiefu, you don’t know—I was tricked by them! It was Zhou Zishan and Kong Yuxiao. If they hadn’t told me it was just a glass of wine and that once Sister got drunk, they’d take her home, I never would’ve done it. In fact, I tried to stop them at the time—just ask Sister, Sister, tell them! I really did try to stop them, but they threatened me, and I was scared… It’s my fault. Please, don’t blame me. I really will change soon—I haven’t been able to eat or sleep these past couple of days. I truly know I was wrong!”

Song Yinyin cried bitterly, her already delicate and beautiful features making her even more heart-wrenching.

Song Qingtian, on the other hand, found it amusing and picked up a book on the desk, smashing it straight at Song Yinyin.
