Chapter 92: Summoning the Army to Demand Justice
Ling Hanyu parked the car and stepped out.
He casually shut the door behind him.
Song Qingtian got out of the car, holding her daughter in her arms: “Don’t say a word—let me handle things at the kindergarten. All you have to do is stand by and cheer us on.”
To put it plainly, Dad’s authority had to be maintained.
Ling Hanyu was furious: “On what grounds?”
“On the grounds that we’ve got the strength to deal with their parents. Is that all there is to it—settling this score right here at the kindergarten?”
Song Qingtian’s face was clouded with anger as she gently pressed her daughter’s little head, doing her best to keep her from seeing their expressions.
Ling Hanyu glared coldly at Song Qingtian, growing angrier with every passing thought.
Nothing made him angrier than his daughter being bullied.
Turning around, Ling Hanyu headed straight for the kindergarten entrance, already having called Secretary Yang and told him to come over immediately.
Secretary Yang assumed something must have happened to Ling Nuonuo, so he hurried over.
Song Qingtian followed Ling Hanyu into the building, and the principal promptly came out, accompanied by the vice-principal and Ling Nuonuo’s homeroom teacher.
After all, Ling Hanyu was a distinguished young figure in the city, known for his extensive charitable work.
Their kindergarten had also benefited greatly, receiving no less than tens of millions in educational funding every year.
The principal had long heard of this prominent figure but had never met him before.
How could he possibly fail to greet such an important guest today?
As soon as the security guard called the principal’s office, the principal rushed out.
But at this moment, Ling Hanyu was clearly in a terrible mood.
“Mr. Ling…”
The principal said a bunch of flattering words, but Ling Hanyu kept his cold, impassive expression, not saying a single thing.
It was Song Qingtian who took the initiative: “Which one of you is my daughter’s teacher?”
As far as Song Qingtian could remember, the original female supporting character had never sent her daughter to school, so she didn’t know the teacher at all.
Ling Nuonuo’s homeroom teacher was a young female teacher who had just graduated from university and had only recently joined this prestigious kindergarten thanks to her outstanding abilities.
The teacher quickly replied, “That’s me. Hello, Ms. Nuonuo!”
“Hello. Which class are you in?”
Song Qingtian got straight to the point, leaving the teacher a bit bewildered—she couldn’t understand why Song Qingtian would ask such a direct question right off the bat—but she still gave the specific location.
Meanwhile, Ling Hanyu remained cold and silent.
The principal realized things were getting awkward but didn’t dare say much; he could only follow them to Ling Nuonuo’s classroom.
During this time, the teacher kept trying to take Ling Nuonuo away, but Ling Nuonuo refused, clinging tightly to Song Qingtian’s shoulder.
Finally, they arrived at Ling Nuonuo’s classroom.
The teacher first introduced them to the children: “This is Nuonuo’s mom, and this is Nuonuo’s dad. Please give them a warm welcome!”
At the teacher’s command, all the children broke into applause.
Ling Hanyu stared coldly at the kids—forty or fifty of them.
They were all the ones who had bullied his daughter.
The principal politely asked, “Mr. Ling, could there be some kind of misunderstanding?”
Ling Hanyu lowered his head slightly, still fuming; he didn’t want to speak either, just lifting his gaze to stare coldly at the children.
At this point, Song Qingtian carried Ling Nuonuo over to the front row, to the very first desk: “Nuonuo, did the kids at this desk bully you?”
Ling Nuonuo didn’t dare answer; she clung tightly to Song Qingtian’s shoulder, hiding her little face.
Ling Hanyu’s temper flared up even more.
The teacher hurriedly tried to explain: “Ms. Nuonuo, the kids in our class are all very friendly and loving toward each other—how could they possibly bully anyone? That’s impossible!”
“Shut up!”
With a single sentence, Song Qingtian left the teacher speechless and red-faced.
Ling Nuonuo turned to look at the teacher, blinking her eyes. Seeing that the teacher wouldn’t dare say another word, she looked up at Song Qingtian, clutching her tightly and pressing her little face against Song Qingtian’s.
Song Qingtian patted her daughter and said, “I’ll settle accounts with you later. If anything happens to my daughter, your whole family won’t be able to make amends!”
The principal was so frightened that he froze, unable to react.
Ling Hanyu was definitely not someone to mess with.
The teacher was forcibly pulled away, and Song Qingtian swept her icy gaze across the children present: “Whoever bullied my daughter, stand up! Otherwise, don’t blame me if I’m not polite!”
After all, they were just kids—initially, none of them dared move, but soon enough, they were all too scared to stay seated and stood up.
Song Qingtian didn’t hit any of them; instead, she went around asking each one individually whether they’d bullied Nuonuo. If they said they hadn’t, she made them apologize, repeating each apology a hundred times.
The kids started crying as they spoke.
One kid cried, and suddenly the whole class was crying.
By the time Secretary Yang arrived, the entire class was sobbing.
Seeing this scene, Secretary Yang shivered—was this really Song Qingtian?
