Chapter 115: Counterattack 41

Chapter 115: Counterattack 41

The person before him didn’t let him bask in empty joy.

Just as he was impatient and once again tried to cover up his excitement by licking his lips, Ming Yue gently pressed his chin down a bit and then kissed him straight away.

It was simple and direct, with no fancy techniques at all.

Jiang Feng immediately responded, pulling the woman in his arms even tighter. Right there by the window, under the bright sunlight, instead of taking the lead, he went along with her rhythm, gradually deepening the kiss.

It wasn’t until several minutes later that they finally broke apart.

Both of their breaths had grown heavy and intense; they looked at each other, and surprisingly, both of them felt a little flushed.

After all these years, not only had they kissed countless times—even that… well, it had long since become commonplace, happening so many times they’d lost count.

Yet somehow, they’d never blushed before.

Today, though… it seemed a bit different.

A single ray of sunlight, two pairs of eyes—stuck together like this, growing hotter and more passionate with each passing moment.

“After knowing you for so many years, I’ve never realized just how handsome you really are,” Ming Yue said, her hand already sliding into Jiang Feng’s collar and casually unbuttoning the top few buttons.

Jiang Feng’s Adam’s apple bobbed incessantly, and his big hands didn’t stay idle either: “After knowing you for so many years, I’ve always known you’re truly beautiful!”

Not just beautiful—she was absolutely stunning, right down to his very heart!

He just hadn’t quite said it out loud yet.

Ming Yue smiled faintly, saying nothing in return.

She’d always been able to see how handsome he was.

But in the past, she’d simply refused to acknowledge it—especially given the old transactional dynamic between them. Sometimes, when she looked at him… it even hurt her eyes.

Today, though, things were a little different.

Once she’d figured that out, Ming Yue expertly undid every single button on his shirt, then without another word, leaned in and bit his sensuous Adam’s apple.

In an instant, all of Jiang Feng’s self-control, restraint, and composure crumbled. His emotions surged, his body followed suit, and he scooped her up in his arms, striding straight toward the bedroom…

By evening, utterly exhausted, Ming Yue lay motionless.

Looking at the trail of kiss marks all over her body and glancing at the imminent boarding time—seemed like there wasn’t enough time for the flight after all—she sank her teeth into Jiang Feng’s shoulder and snapped, “You bastard! It’s all your fault!”

“Yeah, yeah, yeah—it’s all my fault. Want to change the ticket? Fly tomorrow instead?”

Jiang Feng’s smile stretched all the way to his ears, his attitude of admitting fault was exemplary. He held her close, occasionally kissing the hairline at her temple.

So this is what mutual consent feels like—such a wonderful sensation.

All those years ago…

Jiang Feng cursed himself silently countless times in his heart, holding her tightly in his arms, wishing only that he’d met her sooner than that Mr. Fu.

“You go handle it!”

“Okay.”

Jiang Feng agreed without hesitation, showing not the slightest bit of resentment but rather delight at this rare little tantrum she’d thrown at him.

“Then I’ll take another nap,” Ming Yue yawned, stretched lazily, nestled herself into Jiang Feng’s embrace—and sure enough, she was off again, heading straight for her weekly date with Zhou Gong.

Jiang Feng wrapped his arms around her and asked, “Aren’t you going to get up for dinner before you go back to sleep?”

“Nope.”

“I’ll make some—will you at least eat a little?”

“Nope.”

“I’ll bring it right over—still no?”

“Nope.”

“Alright, then let’s just go to sleep for now. We can cook something later when you’re hungry.” Jiang Feng spoke to her like he’d be talking to a child, turned off the light, and pulled her even closer.
